The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is loaded with features across its five trim levels. These features include two engines offering different levels of power. However, in this article, we’re examining the second trim, the Touring.
About This Trim
Being one above the base trim, the Touring offers a little more, and many of its features are available or upgraded in higher trims. However, for a tight budget, the Touring is still an affordable option that adds comfort to enhance your daily drive.
The Touring’s Technology
The technology is one of the notable upgrades that the Touring received, going from a 7.0-inch to an 11.6-inch infotainment system. With a larger screen, you can easily see more details and navigate through the menus. The trim is also the first in the lineup to receive wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality.

While the wheels change slightly for each trim, the size and material remain the same for the Touring and the base models. A few colour changes, such as the mirrors being dark grey instead of black and silver accents, are apparent at a glance. However, there are a few functional differences, such as the Touring featuring fog lights and integrated LED turn signals.

Featuring the same engine as the base trim, the Touring doesn’t differ in any significant mechanical way. With a 2.0-litre SUBARU BOXER engine, the output is fair and plenty for an SUV in most situations.
Safety Features Unique to the Touring and Up
One of the driving assist features that appear on trims of the Touring’s level and up is the Subaru Rear/Side Vehicle Detection. Automatic emergency steering is available for the Subaru EyeSight, while the SUV can be unlocked easily thanks to the proximity key with push-button start.
