Notable Changes from the Previous Year
The 2024 Subaru WRX has included new standard safety features for all models, like the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. Now, the entire lineup has a pre-collision braking system, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, vehicle start alert, and lane sway warning.
The 2024 lineup premieres a new trim, RS. It has a standard high-performance Brembo braking system, six-speed manual transmission, and trim-exclusive 19-inch gunmetal alloy wheels. Additionally, there are two trims with SPT (Subaru Performance Transmission): Sport and GT.

Performance Specs
All models run on a 2.4-litre Turbocharged Subaru BOXER powertrain with a six-speed manual transmission; SPT models have automatic transmissions. This engine delivers 258 lb-ft of torque capacity plus 271 horsepower.
Design Features
All models have an air conditioning system with air filtration, but only Sport and higher models have a dual-zone automatic climate control system. Humidity sensors are standard for the flagship model, GT (SPT). The interior design also counts on a centre console armrest with an illuminated tray.
The sharp-looking exterior design includes features like aerodynamic textured black cladding on wheel arches and rocker panels, as well as quad-tip high-performance exhausts. The standard high beam assist and LED headlamps resemble their rally origins. Additionally, all models’ bodies have received anti-corrosion treatments and are made of dual-sided galvanized steel.
Technology and Safety
The base model’s standard infotainment system includes a 7-inch touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In contrast, upper models have an 11.3-inch touchscreen display equipped with GPS navigation for the Sport-tech and GT. All models are equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and SiriusXM Satellite Radio with Travel Link.
Dual-stage deployment airbags and driver’s knee, side-impact, and side curtain airbags are standard across the lineup. The Sport (SPT) is the only model with EyeSight features like pre-collision throttle management and adaptive cruise control with vehicle hold. All models have trunks with internal safety release and self-illuminating handles.
