Notable Changes From The Previous Year
Last year, the Crosstrek lineup underwent a deep remodel, bringing plenty of new features. So, apart from a new standard engine for nearly all trims, the 2025 version has very few changes. The new Crosstrek has five trims:
- Convenience: $31,785*
- Touring: $34,985*
- Onyx: $36,785*
- Limited: $39,785*
- Wilderness: $40,785*
Infotainment And Technology Features
Touring and upper models are compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Subaru Starlink features, like boundary alert, curfew alert, enhanced roadside assistance, and more.
SiriusXM satellite radio and a radio data system are also standard across the lineup. The Convenience comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display with audio controls, while the rest of the lineup has an 11.6-inch touchscreen display with GPS navigation.
Exterior Design
All models look very similar, but only the flagship model has colours like Alpine Green and Geyser Blue. The Wilderness is also the only model with black exterior badging, while the rest of the lineup has chrome badging. Body-colour door handles and door mirrors with integrated turn signals are standard for the Touring and upper models. All trims received anti-corrosion treatments on their dual-sided galvanized steel body.
Interior Comfort And Cargo Space
All models have automatic dual-zone climate control systems, reading lights, interior lighting, and centre console armrests. Touring and higher trims also have armrests for the second row of seats. However, only the flagship model has LED interior lighting and a protective cargo tray. Cloth, leather, and all-weather soft-touch seat coverings are available. All models seat up to five passengers.
Engine And Performance Features
This lineup has two standard engines. While the Convenience and Touring have a 2.0-litre Subaru Boxer engine, delivering 152 horsepower and a torque capacity of 145 lb-ft. Onyx and higher trims have a 2.5-litre Subaru Boxer engine with 182 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque.
Safety And Driver-Assistance Features
The new Crosstrek provides the same level of safety for every model in the lineup. Airbags, rearview cameras, impact-absorbing driver’s footrest, cruise control, and EyeSight driving assists are standard for all trims. There’s a reverse automatic braking system available for the Onyx and upper models and a distraction mitigation system, which is exclusive to the Limited.
