What's New for the 2025 Subaru Outback?
While the model for the new year remains mostly unchanged, the Limited trims have minor updates. These trims now receive a sunroof, an 11.6-inch infotainment screen with included navigation, driver attention monitoring, and a heated steering wheel. The XT package, which delivers a more powerful engine, is now available for the limited trim.

What Technology Is Inside the Outback?
A stunning infotainment system sits inside the Outback's cabin. On the base trim, it's just a 7.0-inch touch-screen infotainment system, but from the Touring and higher trims, it's an 11.6-inch tablet-style touch-screen infotainment system. Limited, Limited XT, and Premier XT are further upgraded to include built-in navigation.
The audio systems are similar, as the Convenience system receives the least while higher trims receive a Harmon Kardon premium audio system. Other technology inside the Outback includes a free three-year trial for SUBARU STARLINK Connected Services on the Touring and higher trims. A selection of SUB-A and USB-C ports is available on all trims.
Comfort and Interior for the SUV
The Outback's seating surfaces are cloth, leather, and genuine Nappa leather. The cloth option is standard on the Convenience and Touring trims, while the leather is for both Limited trims. The Nappa leather is available for the Premier alone. The Onyx and Wilderness receive a unique all-weather soft-touch material for seating surfaces.
Fascinating Exterior Design
The rugged exterior of the Subaru Outback hides away the style of its interior and its comforts. Wheels for the SUV are mostly 17 or 18-inch options made from aluminum. However, the Convenience alone receives a set of 17-inch steel wheels with wheel covers.
Performance Behind the SUV
With two available engines, each trim offers plenty of power. While the 2.5-litre option only delivers 182 horsepower, this is still more than enough for city life and some off-roading. The 2.4 Turbo engine packs a bigger punch at 260 horsepower and is ideal for almost any situation.
